Hemp Food, Chia Seed and Maca: Great Sources of Nutrition

A wide variety of healthy and delicious foods based on hemp food, chia seed and maca are available to you now. These rich foods are GMO(genetically modified-free,contain no refined sugar, synthetic vitamins, hydrogenated or trans fatty acids.

Did you know that the hemp seed, also called hempnut, is a great source of protein--more than virtually any other protein source, including fish, beef, eggs, chicken or tofu? The inside of the hemp seed is rich in both hemp seed protein and oil (a rich source of essential fatty acid), besides containing all 20 essential amino acids. Approximately 56% of the seed is linoleic acid (LA), 20% alpha linolenic acid (ALA) and 3% gamma linolenic acid (GMA). The percentage of essential fatty acids (EFA) in hemp seed is higher than that of soy, most of which is genetically modified.

Hemp seed may be eaten as a seed, sprouted, ground into meal, or drank as a tea. It is comprised 2/3rds as edistine, which boosts the immune system and helps in digestion, and 1/3rd albumin.
